I have a similar issue for which I'd love to hear anyone's
ideas in terms of a solution: I made the assumption (I
know, I know) that Russound had a command in their IR
library that allows you "tell" a CAV which zone you wish
to control - WRONG! This can only be accomplished via
RS-232.
I wanted the client to be able to use an MX-900, and not
have to point at the UNO-TS2 touchscreen we installed
(CAV is providing amplification for this room's speakers).
This is kind of hokey, but how about using their keypad splitter (supports multiple keypads in one zone) to connect a "hidden" UNO-S1 keypad to the TS2's zone, than using an MRF emitter to send IR to this from the MX900's RF?
