If I were going to use two HDC2000 units in one system, do the MCU versions have to be the same? Could I combine a 3900 and a 3750?
Thanks, CJ

If you're using them in the same system, and using one chassis as an auxilary, you need to have the same firmware master and auxilary EEPROMS.

Two HDC2000 can only be connected with a expansion card kit. Model # HDC2200. This kit includes the Master expansion card and the Auxiliary expansion card that is needed to connect both chassis. Also included is the interconnect cables between chassis. This kit also includes the auxiliary MCU Eprom you will need.

keep in mind your dual zone output cards must all be the same (2010). you can not mix and match old ones with new ones in the same mcu.

I didn't realize that the HDC2200 came with an EPROM as well. I would assume that it would be a 3990 then. Not too sure what to do, I already have a 3760 EPROM and a 3900 EPROM. Anyone know where I can get another 3900 EPROM (I don't want to have to switch all the 1010's to 2010's)?
