Has anyone controlled this unit by RS232 with AMX or Crestron? We get the commands to work after we send them repeatedly. Usually won't work on one try. Sometimes they won't work at all. Looking to if there is something special we are missing. Thanks!

Yes. But the feedback has been spotty, either very slow ( 5-7s) or non existant ( as in the feedback state does not track accurately. But as for one way, yes but be warned about how and when you send your poll command. That was the modification I had to perform to get the unit to work. Sending the command and the poll command right after it caused the unit not to respond. If you are having issues the poll command timing is where I'd look. I believe I delayed it 1s.

Thanks Alan. We found a technical bulletin that said some of the NXI cards have trouble with anything using even or odd parity. We tried an AXB232++ box off of the axlink bus and it works flawlessly. Strange.
