I've have access to the Crestron IR database and would like to be able to convert their format into the standard Pronto Hex format code. In the Crestron code the frequency is given, the one time burst, the repeat burst and a value called CRC. The CRC code is, in Crestron's words, "a string of data that is a distilled representation of an entire IR signal's waveform". Does anyone know how to convert their 4 digit hex number into a usable pronto ir hex code?

They take the code shown below and come up with a CRC value of 1FA1

0000 0067 0000 0022 0156 00ab 0016 0060 0016 0060 0016 0060 0016 0016 0016 0060 0016 0016 0016 0060 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0060 0016 0016 0016 0060 0016 0016 0016 0060 0016 0060 0016 0016 0016 0060 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0060 0016 0060 0016 0060 0016 0016 0016 0060 0016 0016 0016 0060 0016 0060 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0593

I don't know of a way, although, you can use AMX .IRL files and convert those to pronto hex. Using the program called IRlite in the files section.

Well, you CAN convert pronto hex codes into crestron IR codes with Deal. But, I've never seen a program to convert the Crestron code into the Pronto's hex format.

As I said before, you CAN convert AMX IR files to Pronto hex using IRLite in the files section of this site. Then go to AMX and get the IRL library.
