Anybody use them for AMX programming? Looking for opinions, good, bad, or indifferent.

We used to. I've seen them do jobs that would just blow you away, I've also seen them do jobs that are just sad. You should also be aware that they are tremendously expenisive, even in relation to a Crestron/AMX project.

I second jec on them. We have had an interesting relationship with them. Some of their programmers are great, others not so much. Not cheap either...
We don't sell AMX so I can't say how they do with that product, just dealt with them on Crestron jobs.

I'm not so much worried about price, that will get passed on to the customer. I'm looking for opinions on there work.

don't have any experience using them, but I would like to hear some positive aspects of their services too. just because we haven't heard anything so far does not mean that it does not exist. it is quite possible that the happy clients have no need to visit forums like these that tend to discuss problems and all levels of installation banter, more than objective reviews of an independent distribution of the installations.
they might suck, but I am just trying to allow them to be given a fair shake... fair is fair.
also, it takes two to tango. if a programmer fails, it could be attibuted to any number of problems down the line, all the way back to the sales component.

I have been using RSD for the past many years, for at least 18 projects. I have been so happy that we recomended them to other dealers that I know (Friends I have met over the years). Not only have I been happy, but I have only heard good things about them from my friends as well. There was only one situation where one of my friends said they rescheduled a job, but to be fair, the reason was because the installers did not have the job ready for programming, so I cant blame them for that. I tried other companies and tried the in-house thing...and RSD in my mind offers a quality of service that noone else I have seen can offer and their panel designs are like nothing else I have seen. So hands down....were happy.
