Was wondering if anyone had MS Word templates for Brady Labels? I am specifically interested in one for the Jettab JET-30-117-2.

Thanks,

I didn't receive any replies, so I made one myself. I am making it available for a short time at [Link: members.aol.com]

What are Brady Labels and what are you using them for?

They are labels for use on wires/cables. They are made of different materials (the ones I use are vinyl) and include a clear plastic overlay to protect them from smearing. They look much better and are much more legible than writing on the wires with a sharpie.

Based on how your template looked, I assumed that is what they were for. I got some from Radio Shack but you could not put them in a printer - about 6 to a sheet. Where can you get these in full sheets so they will work in a printer?

I got them off of ebay for around $10 with shipping for a package of 2000. Retail is around $70. Search for brady +(jettab, lable, label). It may take a week or two until one is listed.

Brady distributors have them. I have used them since I worked out a template with Volkswriter on my laptop with the 10 mB hard drive, running DOS 3.3 at 4.77 mHz!

But when you get them from distributors, they can run around a nickel apiece. I use one in the series that starts DAT-34, if I remember right. It has been a couple of years since I needed so many labels that it has been worthwhile to print them.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I was actually able to make my own in Word 2007, if I can figure out how I'd sent it to you.

Hi cjoneill!

After long years do you still have this file to share?

Thanks for your help.

A search of recent posts by member name shows that sofa_king_CI has not posted since April 2017. He's probably moved on to other things and may not even be looking at this site any more.
