Any of you guys played with this stuff yet?

I've installed a SC-12 recently in a cabinet and it worked great. They couldn't supply the SC1250 amp yet, so I temped in a Sonance Virtuoso sub amp.

I'm quite curious about the SC-IW.

I talked to a guy at Velodyne for quite a while today about it and it seems pretty impressive. They developed a new rectangular driver that is about 3.5 x 14 inches. Apparently, with two of these subs and a 1250 amp, you can get pretty amazing results. A bit worried about the structural transference to adjacent floors... but at least they shouldn't be shaking the drywall off.

I just wrapped up beta testing two of the in floor subs. They are very good. The amp is the best sub amp I've used and is worth the wait.

The in wall sub isn't even in alpha testing yet - pretty sure I'll be a beta for that too.

Did they tell you when the amp would ship? It shouldn't be too long now.

After reading all the other beta results of the non IW SC subs, it looks like we may finally have a viable installed subwoofer product to use.

Any of you guys have an update on the SC-IW...we're thinking about installing it in a basement media center project that we're doing. But like you, fluid, I'm concerned about noise to the living space above. We might just do the SC-10 in conjunction with the rack mount amp, but our guy is into the "invisible" look, which is the reason we'd like to do the SC-in wall.
