Samsung DVD-HD960, 950, 860 does anyone know if these have a decent IR code set? My guess is that they are TOADS.

I finally get out of Yamaha DVD hell only to find out Samsung might be the solution. "Thats all I got to say about that" F.Gump

No the IR set sucks hard. No ON OFF. No Play Pause. Its a joke. Ohh and the picture usally sucks too. Studdering on some 4:3 discs with the occasional audio issue.

They can make a nice DLP and a decent entry plasma. But a big hell no to the DVD players. The one from 3 years ago was only 1/2 way decent but it was first with HDMI. There is just not a reason to use it... if you actually have to integrate it. Look at Sony or Panasonic.
