We install fujitsu's all the time, they give off a lot of ir. We use the 291-80 table top and they work well. Sometime we even parallel two of them. Need more help email me at [email protected], I'll be happy to help.

Xantech makes a new receiver which is design to work with Plasmas, the 490 90.

I do it all the time....

or a small piece of paper over the receiver eye seems to work well with Xantech.
Crude but effective.

Or experiment with different positions for the sensor. I slapped a 480-30 on the front of a Sony plasma, right next to the inputs on the side, and it took me three weeks to realize that, whoopee, I had not had ANY IR pickup problems.

Maybe there is less interference near the connectors of a plasma? So that might be a good place to try putting the sensor?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

No need for that ugly electrical tape. Xantech make's a Sun-80 filter kit That work's great. I just installed three 50 inch Runco plasma's all using the sun 80 filters on the 480-00 dinky links. works perfect.

Kamal has it right. The Audioplex StealthX 4056 works with all plasmas and is visually the least obnoxious.
