Hi everyone, i was wondering if someone could help me out...i recently received a Phillips DVDR985 for xmas and i have yet to open the box due to a dillema i am having....Heres my scenerio, im using a Sony SAT100 HDTV satellite receiver using component outputs and was previoulsy running them to my Onkyo TXNR900 receiver, and then component out to my HDTV, so what im wondring is that now that i have the burner i realize that i cannot record HDTV to DVD which does not bother me...(YET)..but, if i pass the component out to the phillips and then run component out to the TV will it at least display the HDTV signal??? or will i only get standard channels and not the HD's?? i have set the SAT100 to variable output because my TV is not 16X9.....and help would be appreciated, i hope i have given enough info for someone to help, any other questions please ask....thanks
