I am a big fan of the B & K line, no real world dealings with the other two lines.

I have good dealings with B & K as a line and a compnay.

I am a huge fan of Parasound, and Halo specifically. Awesome stuff and awesome company.

I have always loved the Parasound Zpre and the new classic amps. I have never heard the surround stuff though.

We really like the B&K. Never used the Halo. My limited experience with Sunfire turned me off to the pre-pro, but that was long enough ago that they have surely addressed the issues and have discretes now...

Sunfire is making a big turnaround in the industry. I have dealt with them in the past. I think the purchase by Nortek has lit a fire under the company as a whole. The current stuff is pretty good. I hear they have big plans for 2007.

We carry Halo - good stuff; btw, if you're interested I have a Halo C1 from our demo room I'm offloading (have a C1 & C2 both, keeping the latter), see the ad on IP (or email me)

Sunfire is great stuff! Killer Subs too! Lots of interesting new stuff on the horizon.
Parasound Good products, conservative designs, I like their 1/2 sized components, always been bullet proof.
B&K very nice, but Sunfire might cross over...
Halo no experience but again, why have it & Sunfire?

Might also look into (although they are a speaker line) -- GENELEC.

Also.. have you looked into Audio Control???

Parasound Halo C2. Simply put - fantastic. Discretes, RS-232, easy to operate, and Parasound actually helps their dealer network succeed with their product. And the Z series half-chassis stuff from their classic line-up is a job-saver time and time again. By the way, has anyone tried the Z series HDMI switcher? If so, how were your results?
