Does the current KXT7720 phone work in this older system? Anything have to be done to it, or just plug it in?

i have some 7735's and 7736's phones and an old, old 308 sitting on the shelf. I can plug it all in and report back to you if you like. The only thing that bothers me, is my 7736 phones have a back lite display and I know earlier versions of 624's cannot drive the back light (power supply not powerful enough) so I'm not sure what would happen if I plug in to the 308. Let me know.

7720 will work with an older kxt30810 just fine.
Back light won't work on 7735/36 with 30810.
