Hey guys have any of you installed a panasonic 42pd3 yet i need to find out if it has discreet codes or if the current discreet tv codes on remote central work with it. THANKS!!!

there's discretes with quirks, and i have posted then elsewhere on this site...
Search for Ahl and Panasonic, and you'll find them...
Examples of quirks: The discrete for video mode will start in PC mode no matter what mode you were in- ie, if you were in 'component' mode, the next step is PC mode... If you were in Video mode, it'll go to PC mode, then vide mode, then component mode...
There's a discrete on and off (don't get me lying about what they are, though!)

Here's the post from the 'Discrete Hunters' forum...
Panasonic plasmas SUCK.
If you're looking for video inputs, there's two discretes- one of them is for "Video", the other is the discrete code for "Input".
No matter what mode the video input is in, pressing the INPUT code sets the TV in "PC" mode- pressing it again gets you to "VIDEO" mode, pressing again gets you to "COMPONENT" mode. Even if the TV is already in PC mode, it does it this way

some other 0250 panasonic codes apply here, too (but not all!)
