Before the E2 series came out, Escient had software that ran on a PC and allowed you to edit groups and playlists etc, using the keyboard on the PC and a Windows interface.
With the E2 units, the Fireball becomes a network drive and you can see all the music files etc... but what about Playlists, Groups etc.
Is there anyway to manipulate these "virtual albums" using a PC? By virtual album I mean collections of songs from several artists/albums

When you connect to the E2 series fireball using a web browser, you can control the fireball from your PC as well as create/manage playlists, groups, etc.
The Web interface manual is available on the Escient website....

yes, but you have to use the clunky Escient web interface. Is there no way to do it via Windows?
