Hey guys,
Like most small dealers I have shyed away from selling plasmas because there is no profit in them, especially if they come in DOA and we have to end up getting it repaired and ordering another one for the customer. Anyway I do need to get one for a job this week and normally would get Hitachi but they arent available, so does the Panasonic TH-42PX60U have discrete power and inputs? Any input on this would be greatly appreciated before I purchase it and make a big mistake.

Discrete yes. In stock somewhere unlikely! Unless you are BB CC or Sams or Winn Dixie or Kroger or 7-11. If you find a reliable source email me.Whatever you do stay away from Toshiba until we find discretes for them. Maybe soon.....

Jed beat me to the punch about availability of that rarest of birds, the Panasonic plasma. Buy it at retail if you must have a Panasonic; at least one supplier I know has not had reliable shipments of their plasma products since last August. And it's not because they forgot how to order.
One rumor is that the product is being diverted to the overseas market for world cup soccer fans; I view that with some amusement. It is, however, original.
