We were installing 3 * 32 inch Phillips HDTV's above a 50 inch Fijitsu plasma in a sports fan's living room. We had checked with Niles to make sure their remote could handle this situation, they said yes with some work. After about a week of sorting through Hex codes on a Pronto to throw into the Intelli-control we Quit. Phillips discrete codes suck. We had to bite the cost of the TV's and use Panasonic. It sucked, needless to say we now are trying to sell three TV's (about a $3,600 goof).

should have been the other way around.. the Fujitsus are made for that- they have 5 dfferent IR code sets built into them...
Sounds like an installation I was working on in Houston before the psycho lady fired us.....
(we were happy to go!)

We can do it my way, or we can do it my way while I yell. The choice is yours. |

Just curious. Why did the Panasonics work when the Philips didn't? I have used the Philips discreet on/off, I haven't ever gotten the Panasonic discreet codes to work.
What Niles products were you using?
