In the past, Dish Newtork has not had discrete on/off codes for their receivers, although there are a few kluge workarounds. I just noticed there are now about 30 different discrete on/off codes for Dish Network in the discrete files section for the Pronto.

Anyone know what those are for - Dish Network receivers or older "big dish" Echostar stuff?

I think in the last batch of software downloads, they added descretes for almost all their current product. I haven't had a chance to play with them yet myself. I think that only the 721 did not get descretes.

I have had the discrete on/off commands work so far on the PVR501, and older models the 5000 and 3000.
