How do they compare to the Sim 2, JVC, Sharp or Infocus?

I used a Digital projection Highlight 5200 (I think that was the part #) The picture was good but it sounded like a jet running in the background. There was no way this unit could have been put in the same room with the screen. Also. the unit was OEM by JVC and was about 3 times the price.
