I am looking for an arm for a dentist office. I need to mount to the ceiling that is about 4 feet away and the bracket must be able to be push away from the person in the dentit chair. Any ideas on where to get a bracket like this. I have seen them before, but can't remember a name.

Make sure that the office has a copy of Marathon Man in their video library.

Chief mounts have a bracket that extends 37". I think it's the PNR model.

Try the following websites:

www.icw2.com (Look for the "Elite" ceiling mount, with dual arms)
www.inovativeofficeproducts.com (I could be wrong, but something like that)
www.mrhookup.net
www.ergotron.com
www.Lucasey.com

Arm for LCD in Dentist Office

Boy I thought that the LCD's had come down enought that a dentist could afford them. If not, could he at least trade some dental work rather than having to give up his whole arm for one? :)

I do dental offices on a regular basis. We use the ICW almost exclusively.
