I've looked at Sanus, tech craft and Plateau. Any recommendations for easy to work with manufacturers that stock and can drop ship? I get requests for credenza type cabinets.

We've been selling Salamander for quite some time now. Great quality, flexibility and versatility. Lots of options which can sometimes be intimidating. But they ship relatively quick, they can drop ship too. We also like their seats.

The only bummer: They are a son of a bitch to assmeble. Especially the doors. So, I would never leave that up to a customer and you need to make sure you quote enough time for assembly.

But other wise...great stuff.

Dude you are right, that stuff is insane to assemble!
My time is way too expensive to assemble those things.
You always look stupid assembling that 3 wide one. I pay a college student the day before the install to assemble it. For some reason I have never been able to get the same guy to do a second one.

We have had great luck with StudioTech. Lots of variety, good build quality, decent to assemble. The best part is that their wood cabinets have a rack rail option. Check them out.

i second the StudioTech recommendation. Good prices and alot of thought into ventilation and accessibity for wiring. Stay away from Sanus as they do not back up their product if you have a problem with it.

We sell BDI - Very nice stuff. We also sell Salamander - Very nice stuff. Never had a problem with the doors, but the DRAWERS - that's another story... Once you've done a few racks, they're not really that hard...

BDI is great, we sell some Bello, and Plateau. Sanus is always a great seller.

Most of the stuff is easy to assemble. The big Sanus Woodbrook piece was a little difficult.

Contact RJ Throckmorton in St. Louis. They only sell to the custom guys. They really do have barns full of just furnature. chickens in the yard, old gas pumps outside. Honest it's worth the drive one time to see there operation.

My one complaint. Bello and BDI really do need to get with it, a better picture catalog would triple there business. Big time with BDI. The BDI furnature is 20 times better than the pictures.
