looks pretty, no Macromedia flash support though and no feedback. For me the feedback issue is a big problem. If the T2 doesn't cut it we step them up to AMX. If price comes into play, we point out whats the point of having a 6.5" color TS that gives you no feedback. You will have to use it with a TV to see what you are doing so its basically a big remote and do you want to have to use it everytime you want to channel surf.

Maybe I'm missing something and I think once RTI releases some two way support it would be a much more feasible product.

Where have you read that it has no feedback? I thought the release of the new XP8 processor would provide 2-way communication to the T4 (and T3 with update).

And the T4 hasn't been released yet.

Is Flash something you use frequently on your TP designs? I'd enjoy hearing how you employ it and on what TP's.

Just don't give me any weird ideas.

The T4 has not been released as of yet, The K4 is available, there will be 2 way with the XP-8 when it is released along with the T4
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

The T4 currently will not support Flash or Java...

Don't really use flash or Java for TP designs in general but it is needed for real web surfing and it helps with control of things that have built in web interfaces like ReQuest and Escient. The K3, and K4 have the built in web interface but without Java or Flash support it limits what you can do with it.

Netstreams control would be nice but that needs flash.

Sonos control would be cool but then we need to install a program called desktop controler...

Did a job yesterday with 4 T3s and 4 RP1s and the RP6 is coming next week. Anyways this customer had a system with 3 TSU6000s for the last 4 years and was "happy with it". He has a whole new list of acolades when I left yesterday.

Looking forward to getting my claws on a T4.

What I meant about Flash support was exactly what CMA stated, webbrowser and the like. In addition, we use Flash with our AMX installs. From most of our AMX Gui's we have a flash equivalent that is used for phones and PC's. Same UI, simple for enduser to use. Also we use Flash for some other things on a few odd ball jobs. I'm just saying, that Flash suppport would be very nice for us.

The things you can do with Flash are amazing. Besides, Flash programmers are pletiful and I've seen some very impressive Gui's some from xplore solutions days some vary recent

As far as the XP8, its not shipping either yet is it? I was told they would be showing it at cedia and they were hoping to be shipping it sometime after...

I love the T3 as well.
In fact, I have one right here in my office at home!

According to a conversation with Pete B. earlier this week, we should see the T4s in the next 30-45 days or so.

**Fingers crossed**

I am also awaiting the new processor with great anticipation.
