See my earlier post when I revealed that the folks at Leon have a sense of humor and wouldn't be too concerned about it, I think. Go ahead and see what happens....I think ceied is the one working for Bush, what with all the Port Authority jobs he's been getting. I'm not doing PR work, I'm having fun at the expense of people who take themselves a little too seriously....

Claus...
How would the good folks at LEON react to having
all of your irritating posts fowarded to them?

With your P.R. skills I'm wondering if maybe you
work for Bush also!

Ya know I wouldn’t normally feed the trolls, but
he does needeth the Smackdown placed on his candy
ass.

I won’t even comment on your name, kinda shows
what we are tolerating/ dealing with.

This coming from a guy who calls himself the Lizardking. Ok, Jim Morrison, bring on the leather pants.

The fact that this is your first thread that you’ve
commented on gives us all a moment of pause.

Apparently not, the one thing I haven't seen displayed on on this thread is any sort of apprehensive pauses.

What
I mean is, when I say “us” I mean the people that
you are commenting on/to.

Which didn't include you, until you decided to get involved in a conversation with someone you don't trust or respect about something you claim later not to care about.

We have all been posting
here on and off for some time, some longer than
others, but we also have an understanding of decorum.

The decorum has been clearly ignored by more than just myself.

When I or anybody else post with questions, concerns,
gripes, or recommendations we are seeking an opinion/
advice/ consult with people we know and trust
and have had a relationship on some level for
varying amounts of time. When you made your first
post, if you had been a bit less confrontational
you might not have been lit into quite so bad.

Those with decorum would have had the sense not to respond in kind to such unbecoming commentary.

Then you start giving us attitude, if I may, who
in the Wide Wide World of Sports do you think
you are. At least everybody posting in this thread
has proven themselves to the point that we regard
their input and advice.

I think I am someone who has effectively gotten several grown men to engage me in an incredibly long-winded insult match and has made this one of the most viewed and popular thread around here for some time.

This is your first thread Mr. Clever, and you
take it upon yourself to start questioning people
that have a long record of giving us valuable
info and have helped us out of many jams.

If they're so qualified then they shouldn't have any trouble dealing with someone who has no credentials and no insight.

Who The F are you? None of us know what your credentials
(and do not care anymore, really) are and as such
we base what we know of you on the substance of
what you say, and based on what I see you sound
like a hack that has his head so far up his a$$
you have to unzip your fly to breathe. Or……you’re
a shill/ salesman for Leon and you have single-handedly
pretty much guaranteed that most if not all of
the CI’s that are regulars to this site won’t
have anything to do with your pet speakers. I
find myself wondering if the poor folks @ Leon
PR would be happy with your commentary. Not about
the quality of their product but because your
dumbass pretty much pissed us all off to the point
that we will not buy their product to spite you.

See my earlier posts regarding the nature of Leon's sense of humor. I doubt they're too worried about someone who wouldn't buy a good product based on the comedic antics of an unaffiliated rabble-rouser, it doesn't display too much business aptitude.

Here endeth the lesson.

Awwwww....already?
I'm usually joking.

C'mon guys let's forget the bickering for just
a moment.

Since I sort of started the Triad vs. Leon portion
of this thread, why not clear up the whole debate,
and do a shootout of sorts.

Since I really don't have a side on this, I could
get review units of a Leon Hz414-LCR and a Triad
OnWall Mini LCR3.0, and see which one sounds better.
Leon does have more expensive "audiophile" models,
but they're not in the same price range as the
Triads. I may get one of those to review anyway
though.

I am a Triad dealer, but I have spent a good deal
of time talking to the Leon folks at trade shows,
and I've always been intrigued by their stuff.
And admittedly, the Leon folks were very nice.

Okay???

Dawn

This post is too reasonable, even-keeled, and intelligent to get much attention on this thread.

As my last post on this thread, please refrain from crying, I would like to appeal to all of you whom I may have insulted, injured, or otherwise angered. Please don't allow my reckless attempts at entertaining myself over the last week or so to impact your feelings toward Leon. This may already be impossible, but I urge you, as good business men and women, not to let my comments keep you from trying a good product and letting it stand or fall based on the quality of its performance and the aptitude of its manufacturers. The guys at Leon are great guys and they in no way sanctioned any of my comments. They respect and wish the best for all of their competitors and understand that competition is what makes us all strive to be better. This comment was not made at their request, but given the tone some of you have been taking regarding Leon, I felt it necessary to distance my comments from the feelings and nature of Leon as much as possible. Finally, thank you all for giving me some great laughs, I hope you can find it in your heart to fogive me if I've hurt anyone's feelings.

Was that supposed to be some attempt at an apology? If it was, you're better off just fading away. Creating the impression that you're some kind of victim of a bunch of sensitive pansies is merely another passive insult or sleight, because that isn't what happened here.

You dish out a little trash, then act like you're just joking when you get trash back, then play the victim. Go point for point to retort insults with insults, then make fun of all the people you've supposedly upset while again lamenting how you're the victim. And for good measure, you laugh about how you're above it all (while still mired in it).

It doesn't work with the majority of us. You haven't upset us, ruffled very many feathers, otherwise shocked our little community or made too many waves. Sorry, you're not that powerful or important.

You got called on a little bullshit, no big deal. If you really want to apologize for something, merely admit that you were a little overzealous in you're opinion about Leon being ripped off. But, that would be harder for you to do because it would mean you have to admit having done something wrong. Creating the impression that you've mistakenly offended our delicate sensibilities is not dealing with the real issue.

So, I offer this olive branch to you; let's act like it's Viet Nam and both say we won. Maybe most will forget our little skirmish and welcome you here, maybe some won't. I think you are articulate and a wise ass, no problem, glad to have you. You seem to know a little about speakers, hopefully you've learned a little about forum tact. Eat a little crow, it will gain you some respect, and you'll likely be welcome here by the majority of us.

BP,
It would appear that although he is clearly a fan of point source speaker systems, Claus himself may be a tad bi-polar.
