Had an older couple come in the store whos moving into a new house in a few weeks. we will be installing a dish system for them, and doing some minor setup of their existing system. (assumed a HTIB)

I had the RTI remotes on the counter, and they were asking about "universal" remotes anyway. I went through all the benefits of the RTI contollers, etc, knowing full well it was way out of their price range. (they were already asking if I could do a phone drop instead of SBC as i was $20 cheaper)

So in the end she asks me how much the remotes were.
I said "That one is 6 (pointing to T2+), and that one is 12 (pointing to T3) plus programming. She didnt fall over, but then eventually acted a little confused.

Her: "Um..., $6, whats the catch?"
Me: "No, 6 HUNDRED dollars"
Her: "Oh, well never mind then, well just juggle the remotes"

I might have been offended if I didnt see it coming:)
No, I wont install your plasma with an orange extension cord hanging down the wall.

Ed will be known as the Tiger Woods of the integration business, followed closely with the renaming of his company to "Hotties A/V". The tag line will be "We like big racks and tight holes"...

Hey, that's MY customer! Never mind; keep him.

"I want it to sound better without costing more."

He wants a $1000 sub for $400. Don't we all!
