I need to control a Sony FM/AM tuner which did not come with a remote control handset.
I had tried various IR codes from the remote central prontoplus.
does any one has a code somewhere that i can use, it is essentila for my audio distribution.

Try a file for the ST-SA50ES located in the original Pronto files. The codes for the Sony component tuners are still the same.

I searched and downloaded the file, ST-SA50ES from the Pronto Pro Classic, when i tried importing it unto my MRC88, it tells me no valid CNV file found.
What could be wrong? If you have the file can u please fend it to me?

First did you try all 4 code sets in the library???
Second You'll never import many of those code into the MRC88!!! (A prexisting pronto file that is)

I have talked with tech support and such and certain codesets learned or otherwise fail to even show up when you try....

Learn them into an MX850 or pronto and teach the MRC88 with the learner, that's what I had to do for quite a few codes...........
