has anybody noticed that this thread was started on the 12th and the writer has not responded to anything?

Which TOLD him right there, what was wrong! That he had a bad receiver. Yet a lot of people said he had another problem.

No, it's not necessarily bad receiver. Maybe the other receiver needed a hard reset, or possible the center conductor was corroded a bit and taking it out and plugging it back in corrected the problem.

The easy solution is to always simply replace the receiver, but also usually not the problem.
