I am having trouble with codes for a jvc receiver using a philips TSU2000 Pronto. The codes work fine when you press and hold the button, but they do not work when placed into macros because the code is sent out very quickly. I tried placing the code back to back in the macro but that did not work. Is there any way to have the Pronto send out the code for longer?

You can use delays in miliseconds before, between and after device codes that will slow down the IR transmition.

I need single commands to be put out for longer not delays between each command. I need the power and source commands that are going to the receiver to last for 1 second every time they are sent. If they are sent in quick bursts the receiver doesn't see them.

Did you try the approach described in the FAQ?

i have found on a/v gear such as the JVCs and Philips, etc. you have to press the button down on the original remote for about .5 second first and then waive it in front of the Pronto's IR receiver and it seems to work everytime for me.
