Hey guys...

I've been using RS232 with Denon receivers with no issues... AVR3805, 3806, 4806.....

For some reason, I have a 4306 which doesn't seem to be working with RS232. The protocol doc doesn't indicate any changes (that I could see).... Anyone offer any help?

I'm using 9600 baud, non-null, standard settings.
Typical RS232 commands (using RP6): MVUP\r ZMON\r etc etc etc

wtf?
...couple a thumb tacks and a stick of double sided tape should hold this baby up...

Run your cable from RTI into your laptop and use hyper terminal to see if it is sending anything out. If so then plug your laptop into the Denon using hyper terminal to see if it responds to commands sent from your laptop.
