Is there any truth that B&K keypads do not work
with Integra receivers? We use a lot of mx 500s
and 600s with no problems, but last week one of
our installers tried using a B&k keypad with an
integra receiver and had problems, I'm not sure
what they were. But there engineering dept. says
that we will have to send our remote to them.
Does any of this makes since?

I had an issue with an old 600 and an Integra 6.5 on zone 2 awhile back.

I sold the client an 850(because it worked) and didn't pursue the issue any further.

augsys,

Can I call you? Would you share a little info on your expereinces with the RTI RK3 in wall keypads? We are looking to offer them into a CT system and are also hoping to configure them to control an MP3 server - but the RK3 will not support Java, so that rules out ReQuest.

have you used the RK3 on an MP3 server? If so, what make & model?

Why would you not control the Request using IR?

Extremely clunky unless you are using the video out of the ReQuest. Most customers don't want to turn on a TV to control their mp3 server. and I don't blame them. I feel mp3 serving needs to be on a touchscreen where they can instantly browse through their library or playlists and make a selection with a couple of finger touches.
