I need to find an inexpensive outdoor antenna to boost the wireless signal offered in my neigborhood. Right now I have a indoor desktop antenna hanging upside down from my eve pointed at the nearest access point and it works about 80% of the time.
The service provider just released an "approved" antenna but it is $160. They specify a Tranzeo TR-CPE90-15f.
Any suggestions?

Tranzeo makes good stuff. Its not just an antenna but the entire radio. $160 is a good price.

I've used this, worked well. [Link: hawkingtech.com]But for the price difference I would go with whatever your provider approved. $60-$75 is not worth the headache.

1) Thank you for correcting my spelling. 2) I am a cheap bastard. 3) How about cookware... http://www.usbwifi.orcon.net.nz/Those are nice, now you just need to find a way to hook up to a tin foil helmet.
