I asked the rep at EHX last year, just forgot how I knew what I knew. I heard about the Crestron situation many years ago, maybe from one of the Crestron classes I attended.

I was introduced to ATI many years ago, great product.

Dittos on the sonance 1250. I was at a training there last month, and they did a demo with a 275 that was pretty impressive. They put 5 8ohm speakers on each side of the amp and cranked it up. It got LOUD and kept playing. Just to drive the point home, Ken Manson then took a long flathead screwdriver and shorted out ALL FOUR TERMINALS. The amps internal circuitry reduced output accordingly, but the amp never shut down, and ALL TEN SPEAKERS KEPT PLAYING! Friggin amazing. I know what I'll be spec'ing from now on.

eastonaltreee Just curious. When listening to the 275 amp, was the BBE turned off or was it left on? We found that when the BBE is on the amps don't like to run very long unless the gain controls are set real low.

Sort of like the BO demo. At least the old stuff. BO only has factory stores today - correct?

Yep. A couple friends had stores up here for a while. B&O franchise some and own some... When the dot com bubble popped up here, the stores went bye bye.
Now, B&O wants to open another store or two up here.

My friends kind of lost their shirts!
That was a great demo they used to do at the factory 16 speakers in paralell cranking out the tunes from their 30 watt amp!

B&O now has a partner program. From what I understand it is kind of like factory OK'ed transhipping. They had a booth at EHX. I wonder what that was for? Never saw anyone there the whole show.
