Hey Folks, I need some suggestions for a VERY quiet projector for a conference room. Standard board room connections apply, resolution not a big factor, and screens are 4:3.

Thanks

I don't know what their budget is but the VPL-VW100 is the quietest DLP I have ever heard....or I guess "not heard"; if it wasn't outputting light you would not know it's running.

The Yamaha DLPs and the Marantz VP8600 projectors are the quietest I have seen to date...

The Epson 550 is pretty quiet, (and I think Yamaha has Epson build part of theirs)...?

You mean mounting th2 $1200 Circuity City "Special Buy" Presentation Projector is gonna be loud?

Customer actually asked that when they couldn't hear the dialogue over the fan noise.

Thanks for that. I'll call Monday.

I am a Sim2 dealer and they are quiet, especially the C3X line, but not really for board rooms.

I am looking at the Canon REALiS SX60. It is 2500 lumens and native 4:3 with 27db noise. Anyone know a distributor for them?
Optima also has a projo at 27db but only 1300 lumens and native 16:9.
