Shaulin,

Funny you’re having that problem. Was about to start my own thread when I saw yours about the same thing!! I have a great download I got a bout a year ago it work great. It has Discrete Power Discrete Inputs every thing. Now I Just installed a Mitsu WS-55819. The codes don’t work and even worse the codes built into the MAZ RC-9200 don’t work either. Now I’m tearing my hair out.

THE DESCRETE CODE HERE ON REMOTE CENTRAL DONT WORK FOR THIS PEICE!

Any one got some help??

-Pete

P.S Im haveing this problem also with Mitsu HSU-778 SVCR, SONY DVPNS715 DVD player, & SONY CDPCX455

Hey just found all these goods not sure if they will work but may be a help!

got all this stuff at the Descrete Fourm!

I've been chatting w/ Rick Wilson also of this forum for a while about programming remotes.

Here is an excerpt from him that should help you. Use your Mitsu remote and learn the

commands to your other one.

If you have a widescreen model Mits, the Mits remote can be used to give you discrete codes.

You can do it as follows:

Set the Slide Switch at the top of the Mitsubishi remote to TV. Press and hold the POWER
button, and while holding the power button enter 090.

Now the remote functions like this:
>>
>> Power - Power On Only
>> Stop - Power Off Only
>> Pause - AV Reset
>>
>> Pressing INPUT followed by:
>> PIP - DTV
>> 1 - Input 1
>> 2 - Input 2
>> 3 - Input 3
>> 4 - Input 4
>> 5 - DVD / Component 1
>> 6 - Component 2
>> SQV - Input STB
>> QV - Input VGA
>> PIP CH Up - Antenna A
>> PIP CH Down - Antenna B
>>
Learn the desired commands to your universal remote. When done, press and hold POWER button

and enter code 000 on your Mits remote to return to its normal functioning mode.

__________________________________________

Check that.
The previous codes are correct with two exceptions.
SQV = Input 5 (Front Connectors)
PIP Device = Inp-DTV
I don't know where the STB input command is.

On the WS-65909 remote, the two button sequence is as follows:
Press Device (toggle up) then release. Next press:
1 - Rear Input 1
2 - Rear Input 2
3 - Rear Input 3
4 - Rear Input 4
5 - Component 1 480p
6 - Component 2 480p
SQV - Front Input
QV - VGA input
PIP/POP = Digital Antenna (OTA Digital Tuner)
PIP Device = HD Component (1080i)
PIP Channel Up = Antenna A
PIP Channel Down = Antenna B

1 button sequence is

Power = Power ON
Stop = Power OFF
Pause = A/V Reset (Don't know what that does, I did not incorporate into my CCF.

Will post/upload these into a basic CCF for just discrete codes only.

Thanks for the help

Those are the ones, I have a WS-48511 that I just set up through my Pronto and I have gotten all of the buttons from the remote as well as all of the discreet commands working through it. If you run into any issues just give a shout and I will be more than happy to help you out.

Are you saying that the known Mits discretes do not work on the new Mitsu HSU-778 VCR?
