Don't do that.

Just an opinion. Higher ground is always better.

I keep a set of AA batteries from a Sylvannia LCD in my truck. They are SUPER DEAR brand batteries. Their logo is a DEER with antlers. They have the green test bar PAINTED on the side. They squish when you squeeze them(thin cardboard sides).

When I have customer looking at the real cheap products I show them the batteries and ask them if they would ever buy a battery like these at any price. Most customers get the point, those that don't do business with someone else.

Those batteries are great, kinda like a canary in a mine.

Especially with comments like this on here:

"yeah he want to get in your pants...... does your ass get hot when he's around?.....lol. does your gaydar go off?....lol"
No, I wont install your plasma with an orange extension cord hanging down the wall.

Just like a Chef is only as good as his last review in the press, you company is only as good as the systems you install.

You might be able to justify taking a half-assed redeisgned system with massive compromises that are led by the homeowner/decision maker who knows nothing about our industry.

But,
If some relative or acquaintance of that client who has a half of a clue sees the hacked together system and asks who did it, that same client will throw you under the bus and mention your name. Then they will badmouth you to everyone after they get a little education on the horrible system THEY made you put in their home.
Also, they will never mention that they held your backside to the fire over a tiny budget on the project... You will ultimately end up looking like a jerk from doing this work.

Pass.
