If you have what you think are valid codes learned into the pronto from somewhere; i.e. this site, keep in mind the bose unit needs to be setup to receive IR in the settings as RF is the default. Also keep in mind the bose remote outputs RF not IR so attempting to learn from one remote to the other would be useless.

As for discreets: the bose unit powers on to any input so ON = any input and OFF = any input followed by a 1 second delay followed by power.

The commands for this unit are available under the file section of this site but if you can't figure that out then you can capture them from the bose unit from the IR output on the faceplate.

Good luck! LOL

This could be what you're looking for. Looks like it has discretes for the sources.

You ought to post requests like this in the "Discrete Hunter" section after running a search, by the way. Welcome aboard in any case.

tweeter guy is right. but in order to simplify.

The codes you need are on this site in the files section.

your Bose unit can accept your remotes signal BUT you have to tell it to.
in the Bose menu there is a setting to switch it to understand your universal remote control the setting is IR(infra red) not RF(radio frequency.

re read tweeter guys thread carefully .

any probs just shout but not too loud as the urine extracters will appear as if by magic.

If you would like the code to permanently shut the Bose system off, let me know. Happy to help.
