I have a file of discrete codes from Marantz that are in a .pcf format and I need to convert them to pal or hex so that I use them. Does anybody have a tool to help?

If you use Marantz's Wizz.it program, you can open up the commands and get the hex codes there.

You'll also need to use Makehex to convert the commands (if the file you have is the default 9500 pcf). Here is a link to show you how to do that also.

When you open that pcf in Wizz.It you will want to double click on the function you want and it will tell you the device numbers and which function the command is. For example: Tuner power off is 17 12 2 (something like that, I can't remember the exact numbers. If you need more help let us know.
Why all the fighting and cussing? Can't Dave play nice? We're just here to learn and have fun. It was a harmless jab, laugh and get over it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
