tough to get. aren't they all? Sometimes I think I'd have a better chance hooking up with a model than I do with consistantly getting video displays

just saw the new 60 series plasmas at my local CC, and is it just me, or do they look cheap. I am not talking about picture quality, I am referring the actual plasma set itself. Its a lot of cheap silver plastic, with no real aesthetic appeal. Not a big fan of LG, but the styling of their plasma's is first rate, same with most of pioneer. The one exception is Panasonics Onyx line of plasmas, but I have never seen that available through a CI source. It just seems like over the years, panasonics overall look of its product line, plasmas, DVD players, etc have gone down hill

Right from the source, I have heard that they are going to be tough to get through mid-Summer...
Why does everyone love the Pannys anyway?? Is it still the buzz over that stupid Consumer Magazine review from last year??
They ranked a mid-line Kenwood AVR over upper models from Yamaha, Denon, Onkyo, etc. a few years ago... So I don't place ANY stake in their opinions of electronics...
