Long story short, I was unable to find an HDMI 2 discrete for the new Mitsu 1080 DLP TV. So I did a workaround macro by pressing a discrete to HDMI 1 (monlink) and then Device+ and Select. Very slow with goofy delays..

Here's the problem. A Denon 1920(?) is connected directly to the TV. Every 3 weeks or so, the DVD will not turn on. The client has to unplug the power from the DVD to reset it.

I think that if I had the discrete HDMI 2 this wouldn't happen. Thoughts? Anyone have the HDMI 2 discrete?

thanks

I believe your problem there lies with the Denon player rather than a lack of a discreet...

This one works like a champ on our WD-52628.

HDMI 2:
0000 007E 0000 0011 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 0046 000A 001E 000A 02F4

still have not seen descretes for the fire wire or card slots though.

[edit] just looked over the thread and seen you got the discret thing already; with the 1080p tv the remote that comes with it should have HDMI 2 als on one of the buttons, just press around I think it was Device - but it could be 7...

taken from a post on this board when I was looking for the same thing for a programming job.

1.Set the Layer Switch at the top of the Mitsubishi Remote to TV.

2.Press and hold the POWER button, and while holding the power button enter 090.

3.Now the remote should function like this:

Power = Power On Discreet
Stop = Power Off Discreet
Pause = AV Reset

Pressing INPUT (OR Device + / - ) followed by:
PIP = DTV
1 = Input 1
2 = Input 2
3 = Input 3
4 = Input 4
5 = DVD / Component 1
6 = Component 2
SQV = Input STB
QV = Input VGA
PIP CH Up = Antenna A
PIP CH Down = Antenna B
I think Device + and Device - is for the HDI inputs, just try them out

4.When done, press and hold the POWER button and enter code 000 to return to the standard remote functions

Hey thanks. It's been a long time since I've had to regurgitate one of these through Pronto Edit. You wouldn't have some basic instructs to convert this to a URC .mxd?

The info that I had found differs from Elliot's a bit. Once you have changed the remote mode the following is what I got. May be because he has a different model TV.

Device and then
1 = input 1 (S-video/ composite)
2 = input 2
3 = input 3
4 = HDMI 2
5 = Component 1
6 = Component 2
SQV = HDMI 1
PIP CH up = Ant 1
PIP CH down = Ant 2

Power = Power on
stop = Power off
Pause = AV Reset

Do you not have a MX-800 or something to learn the codes into the software? Or do you not have the Mitsu. remote. Also, if I remember correctly, you can import a .ccf into the URC software. If that's the case than I can put together a device file and upload/e-mail it. Let me know if you don't come up with anything.

Rich

Just went searching and found a .ccf by Lyndel for all DLP RPTV's. Check that one out and let us know

Thanks Rich, that particular .ccf does not have HDMI 2 (monlink is HDMI 1). I'll give the client's remote a shot when I get out there next week if I don't come up with anything before then. Big problem is that it's a 90 mile round trip for that little experiment (or a trip to Ultimate to dink with theirs first).

just finished programming MX850 for a Mits. WD73727. I used the database code for the WD62528 (code #300)
MLINK is HDMI 1
INPUT4 is HDMI 2
