I know this may cause me to take more heat than I can handle, but I agreed to take a peek at a guy's Blose system. It's a 2 zone 2 channel system that sort of works. Somewhere along the way another installation company added what looks like a 5 channel Built Invisible power amp, but the head unit is still the old 2 channel, 2 zone system. I didn't want to waste my time and the client's money on it so I left and thought I'd ask if anyone does BI systems.

(I'm pulling up my coveralls now that are flame resistant).

Basically I took ed's advice and told him to hire a (BI) pro!

Ed will be known as the Tiger Woods of the integration business, followed closely with the renaming of his company to "Hotties A/V". The tag line will be "We like big racks and tight holes"...

Come on now guys, its Better Sound through (lack of) Research!! Who could beat that... Funny story about bose and how people really believe its the best out there, One segment of our business is prewiring and trimming structured wiring for the top of the line Centex houses here in Raleigh, I had a client one time that right off the bat came out and said "I have a state of the art Sony and Bose surround system that I want you guys to install if you can handle it, it is clearly more advanced than anything you guys deal with" I just laughed and went on, the ironic part of it all was that 2 houses down from the lot he purchased, we put in a theater with Anthem avm30 pre/pro, PVA7 amp domino 30 proj, and Dali Ikon speakers...

Back to the post, I have had experience with one bose wha system, their thinking is all screwed up. If you dont do it EXACTLY their way then your up a creek without a paddle... Ill never touch another one again

Having to listen to that "banging pots and pans" technology is the next worse thing than being deaf.

Wonder what the Bose guy thinks of his neighbor's theater?

I recently had this guy in the shop after a turntable tell me "CD quality isn't good enough as I'm entering a whole new world of music fidelity" while wearing a Bose tshirt.
