You need a programmer that plugs into the side of the unit to axcess the units parameters. A manual will not be of any use.

Yeah, it's a little black box with a even smaller digital display.
The interface sucks, but audioaccess works. I mean it ALWAYS WORKS.

Just request a manual from AudioAccess. They were very helpful to me. However, the programmer is a dealer-only item and is another story.

John-
Hard to believe, but we have (2) PX-600 programmers...
Only need (1), let me know if you are interested.

I have a PX-603 zone expander (adds 3 zones with amplification) and 4 keypads if you are interested.

1 is 1 2 is 2 3 is 4
1 px 600 is zero but the second 600 is condidered 1!
Anybody that has installed an Audio Access system was totally confused the first time. Or was it just me?

CB1.
Everything is clearly explained in the manual.
If you have two PX-600
With the programmer set the first to 1 and the second to 2.
Check your keypads, you need to configure them properly.
Good luck

I wasnt saying I didnt know how do do it (now) just that it was kinda confusing the first time.
For a single PX600 system, set the System code to "0". In a multi PX600 system, set the System code to the number of the PX600's you have. When in the "UP" or "ON" position the switches have these values: SW5=1 sw6=2 sw7=4 Add the together to get totals equal to the system number, up to System 6.
Clear as mud!! If you have one 600 it is considered system zero, but if you have two 600 the first one is now considered system 1. Why the need for system zero, if you can change it to system 1 if you add a system 2? dont have to answer, just expressing.
If I'm not mistaken it has been changed on the PX700.
