I've used CPS and it's OK. I thought that there were many extra steps tp get things done. When you went to print a quote tons of "extra" pages and blank space on the paper. What's your opinion of Quote Works. It looks like a more user friendly interface and more flexible in the way you can set up pricing and the look and feel of the proposals. Any insight would be helpful.

You can down load Quoteworks and use it for 8 quotes or something like that. Very flexible and for me it allows me to prepare quotes for two different provinces (different tax rates). It also has a link for Quickbooks.

I'm in the process of trialing it myself and it seems to be good value for the dollar.

Quotewerks is hands down the best value in proposal software on the planet.

We are purchasing licenses in a couple weeks. We are going with the Enterprise edition as the SQL set up will work the best for people that travel a lot. I am already using the software on my laptop and getting things in and out of Quickbooks is a breeze. Their support is second to none and the product is priced right.

Thanks again,

Depending on what you are trying to bundle it will most likely do what you need. The best part for me is how easy the different print layouts were to use, that and being able to force people to choose items typically left off of bids to lose money on later (Interconnects, boxes, parts, etc)

I've downloaded the demo and hope to invest the time to make it work the way it should. It really does look slick. It would be nice if there was a way to share inventory info by manufacture to save on some data entry.

I did see something on the web sight about quoteworks doing some setup for you for a price. I'm not sure exactly what they can provide but based on everything I've seen I would bet it's reasonable.

www.quotewerks.com

Yes they will build your database but I would not say it is a good idea. It is very easy to either A link directly to quickbboks if things are already in there or B import using Excel as theat is pretty easy as well.
