Holy cow, anyone use a this or something similiar? Experiences?

up to Dual 64-bit Opteron
up to 6 hard drives
PCI-express x16 graphics option
17" WUXGA (1920x1200) integrated screen
up to 16GB RAM

I like the concept, but reality is that it is a bit too big and heavy.

Anyone have any links to something with the same screen size, but dual hard drives and a much slimmer chassis would suffice. Also, hopefully something that has a more finished exterior chassis.

That design was used a few years back by Gateway and Sony. When they say mobile... they are refering to a office that has to be moved. Not setting it up in a customers living room while you program a remote.

Note the difference between mobile and portable. Portable means you can carry it around. It might also mean it doesn't have to be plugged into the wall all the time.

Mobile could mean it has 16" wheels on its trailer.

I once had a mobile computer, an Eagle. It weighed about twenty pounds, had a 5" black and green CRT, and went into eternal "divide overflow" when booted with anything newer than DOS 3.1. But I could actually move it!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
