Okay,
so I'm working on this SPLCD 6.4v project using dragon drop SPLCD v1.2.40 and I'm noticing that unlike Universal Dragon drop ( Which by the way doesn't work and is why I'm having to re-do this project - It's a long story suffice it it say that Xantech pretty much screwed me on this deal.) it seems that there is no way to re-size the function buttons or switch graphics palletes once you initially choose a graphics theme. (Contemporary, copper, blue Circles Etc.) It would also seem that there is no easy way to import bitmaps such as station logos to be used as buttons. Is it just me, or does this software suck ass compared to every other touch panel software? Ideas, tricks, opinions.... inquirering minds want to know.

You cannot change the graphic pallette once you select one. A way around this is to copy all of the buttons (Fucntion and Source) and put them into one pallette. YOu have to do this by Windows Explorer. Drag all of the files from one pallete into the folder of one of the pallettes (ex. Contemporary). Then whenever you select contemporary, you will see all of the buttons for all of the pallettes. Yes I Know this is a PITA, but with the crappy software you get with the SPLCD stuff, what else can you do. They are great TP's once they are programmed, if you can get them programmed sometime this year.

My biggest beef is that you cannot get rid of the source buttons.

Mike

PS. The Software is horrible.
