help.....just found out the remote for my viewsonic 17" lcd for my boat is swimming with the fishes....

i need the code # for it if anyone can help... i have a urc100 floating around but the codes are not on urc's web site or remote central

Here is the pdf manual. Veiwsonic isn't listed. Get an MX-850 and load the codes into it then teach them to the URC-100. A lot of work but worth the $350 you will save. Maybe the new R-series has the code. They are cheaper and you needed to go by CC and check them out anyway right.
Just checked, the R5 is $40 at CC. It has the code for Veiwsonic (242). Maybe you can try that one in the URC-100. Or try the search programming feature, something is bound to work.

thanks for the input, i am not an end user i am ci guy for a long time now.....nope 242 did not work..... maybe i can just use my nevo sl to learn the urc100...hm?

i have an unused urc 100 and just want to use it if i can....i dont want to goto cc for anything.....

i dont want to buy a remote..... if i do i will just call viewsonic and order the factory remote
