Does anyone have experience with both Raxxess and Middle Atlantic racks? I'm about to spec an 18U rack for an in-cabinet installation, and trying to decide between the two...any thougths appreciated!

I sell both and prefer the Middle Atlantic but mainly because I like to stick with one brand. The Middle Atlantic racks are always as spec'd and the pull out racks are really good to work with.

I sell both but Middle Atlantic usually does't have the problem of backorders that I have had with Raxxess.

Middle Atlantic for sure. Products always right on the money and apparently always in stock, and like ses says, raxxess has backorder problems.

Also MA's rack tools makes designing and ordering a no brainer.
It's such a fine line between stupid, and clever.

Raxxess has a decent pro/commercial presence and hasn't really cracked the CE custom install market.

Middle Atlantic has the largest catalog for commercial of any rack manufacturer, and has been the standard for the consumer custom installation for as long as it has existed.

I see that Raxxess now has custom cut faceplates competing with the RSH stuff from MA. Has anyone tried them?? MA are very good about the dims, the fit and finish, and te turnaround; but I am curious if they are in the same ballpark.

We got a demo 2 space shelf and a custom face plate in...the face plate was pretty sad in the cutout..was anywhere from a 1/8" to 1/4" gaps on the face, that was about 2 yrs ago...havent even looked at them since

Didnt see any pricing

we use MA on our installs...about 90% of all jobs get a rack
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.
