We are going to start a project that the owners want a surround sound in the Master bedroom. They are mounting a plasma nitched into the wall above a fire place but there is not enough room because of the way the framing is to mount in wall speakers. In-ceiling LCR's are out of the question due to 15 foot celings. In ceilings surronds can be acceptable. I was currious if anybody has used the Jamo A 360 yet. And if so how did it sound. We like the concept of just the LCR's in a front single piece and placing the surrounds where we wantr as opposed to the Yamaha YSP or the Mirage UNITheater System that put all five in one.

If there are any other LCR bars that are worth it I would be happy to hear about them.

Those little Jamo's sound good for what they are.

I have used the A3CEN.4 recently and they saved my a** in a tough install. Small space needing big sound.

The sound bar I have also used in a Master and a study recently and was pleased with performance, as was the customer. I do not want to be too obvious but.....if you want mid-lo to lo-end, add a sub. But dialoge was excellent for the smaller spaces and easy, cosmetic pleasing install

Artison LCR Portrait. We use these whenever the situation calls for an inconspicious LCR Speaker. I have personally never liked the soundbar solution. It looks goofy.

Yes, I would use these if I could. But i forgot to mention that the speaker must go on top or buttom of the plasma due to the nitch in the wall.

Pinnacle has a Quantum 9 speaker in that configuration that I would use over the Jamo and I have sold both.

Pinnacle came out with the single bar the same time Boston Accoustics did last year. The Boston is probably good too but I have not heard it.

Like Shoe, I have also sold both Jamo and Pinnacle. If you have the choice go for pinnacle, if you don't, the Jamo's will be more than fine in a bedroom.

At least one distributor that I know of carries the line. They are available in black or silver.

Nice speaker.

I have used these 2 times. Once on a sony LCD 50" in a weird corner setup with high ceilings. Once in another funky corner unit over a 40" Samsung LCD. In a tight corner unit application there was no where to put speakers. Sound quality: Not awesome but not bad. Customers LOVED it especially the wives since they looked great. This will not matter to you but the bracket only works for a wall mount. It will not hang the speaker under a shelf. Be careful this speaker likes to roll off things like couches. Don't ask why I know this. OH and it is a very durable speaker....and I don't mean power handling.

The Mirage UniTheater is actually an LCR, not a pseudo-surround; we'll be doing an install with this speaker this weekend, I can let you know how it sounds once we've got it running
