Oh, in case you don't know what I'm asking about, it's those transducers that you can attach to any hard surface & turn it into a speaker. I saw 'em at ces. Seems like they would have huge wife approval factor & they do require custom install & seems like a pretty easy program.

I put a pair in a customers bathroom, he wanted it for just the wow factor. He shows it off to all his friends. Install is kinda annoying because you have to be there when they put the drywall up to spray on a glue to stick them to the dry wall. As far as sound they were ok, for where they were. They are pricy and demand a lot of power and you will need a small sub near to drive the mid and low range. Unless you have a customer that just does not want to see any speakers, I would use them at the last resort.

Rediculously overpriced. The Little Travel Unit that turns your Desk into a speaker sounded better than the pair we put on the wall....

Interesting concept, but for how much they were, the cheapest contractor grade Speakercraft speaker did a better job.

That is an ancient technology... a customer I had used to build high-end sport fishing boats for the wealthy back in the 60's and they used high power transducers attached to the hulls of the boats for music... He said they sounded like crap.

If you want to get trick, use sound advance or stealth audio... my 2 bits...
