Not even sure if this is an appropriate place to ask this question... and you can email me if that is better... But we are trying to figure out fair pair scales for:
Project Managers, Lead Techs & Apprentices... Kind of a ball park average (hourly)...
I know it will differ in different parts of the country but any input would help...
And again if this isn't cool to inquire here, my apologies... and I will be happy to receive the info via email. Thanks!

Do you mean I should know this??? Or what?

I thought my question was pretty clear, Larry.

Fair to me would be getting about the same $$$ as the top companies in our backyard.

A competitor's top tech/installers make like $22 to $24 per hour, and these are their veteran guys. Certified, licensed etc. They start apprentices at like $13 or $14.

We were paying QUITE a bit more than that, for less qualified installers + including a 12% pension and full benefits. I want to be fair, yet I don't want to give away the farm... That's all.

The last really qualified tech / installer (who left to do his own thing), was making Big bucks, and I think he kinda took the owners for a ride... (over 6k a month). New Van, gas inc.

Anyone who is a turtle would know how to respond without Googling it.

Larry! I just wanted an actual dictionary definition instead of my own words! So I googled "define: IP" and got definitions. It was more to have fun with the new guy than anything else.

Larry yelled at me... :-(

A turtle! You guys are harsh. I got a new standard named after me b/c of ol' Wes and now I'm a turtle. What's next? No, don't answer that.

Gee!!! Thanks for everybody's excellent input... may not know what anybody is making out there, but I'm glad the turtle issue is getting clearded up.
