For some reason your peanut gallery remark just rubbed me the wrong way. There are several products that may serve your needs. The equipment you are using would help to make the selection more appropriate. Can you hear that?

DIRTE,
"I never understood how they get there..." ? ?

I live in Southern California, and have occasionally seen a whole mature peanut in the ground in the dirt in front of houses, and all I can think is that some dumb squirrel must have put them there. You're in Georgia, and they are probably falling off of the peanut truck all the time, so it makes sense that you would find them.

But what did your remark really mean?

2528JB, I agree with not feeling great about being considered part of the peanut gallery. That expression has pretty much always been used to refer to a section of the audience that the speaker is basically calling ignorant. Perhaps, historically, this was the section of the audience that ate peanuts during the opera because they couldn't afford anything else and were too uncouth to eat anything quieter.

Shoe points out something that I have to say over and over and over, especially to newbies here: tell us what the hell equipment you are using so we can suggest an answer. Your question was about as imprecise as "I want to buy a car. How much should I spend?" See how hard it is to give a good answer to that?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

DIRTE, I have corrected my grievous error. I don't use spell check on my posts but I have well below a 1% error rate. I posted at a late hour after a gruelling day. Of course you intended to be offensive, it is apparent in your response. There is no other purpose for your post nor is there any suggestion on how to address the question in the original post. It is the AM and I can now cut the newbie a little slack.

RDL (Radio Design Labs) makes line level audio amplifiers which will boost the signal. A more reasonable solution is found here. You will need a 12 volt wall wart. [Link: virtualo.net]

All I can say is thank god I did not participate in this discussion. If spelling counts then I sure don't. Any time I spell anything correctly it's an accident of fate. I got the meaning of Shoe's comments and the meaning was the message, if I might riff on Mr. McLuhan to make my point.

Wear (Where? LOL) Vince Vaughn ear muffs (ala Old School) when you listen to FM. That should quiet it down a bit.

And yep...we are a peanut gallery. Making insulting posts like this, will bring out the peanut chomping in all of us. Acuse us of being incorrigable and that is what we'll be.
Chasing Ernie's post count, one useless post at a time.

I like to think of it as comic relief. Im not trying to piss anybody off so please accept my apology. I agree that I probably shouldnt have posted without any insight on the question at hand, but the question was indeed to vague to recieve an answer. Plus, I had already been drinking.

Peace to you all. Easy to say after a relatively successful day, which means Krom didn't get his way.
