I'm just about to install the first TiVo I've used for photo's and music on a mac. It's being hardwired to the LAN and I have the app from TiVo. Anyone have any other suggestions or tips that I should know going in?
TIA...

Delt with it 2 times now. For the MAC there is an option to staic its LAN addy but still DHCP for the dns and soforth. Static the MAC. It helps.
Other than that... not really.
Both customers moved off from the music playback as they said it was just too clunky. One wne to Squeezebox and the other to Sonos. So lets just say I didn't spend a great deal of time with them. We set it up so "it worked but it didn't work well" as they put it.
