I have a project where using a large truck battery and an MP3 player are used. A 10-30 Watts per ch amp would be great. Russound eg. is 24VDC on their amp pads, and I'm not up on too much car audio, but would listen to advice. Seems like many systems are overpowered these days. Simplicity and low power consumption is key.

most auto parts stores should have like an Audiovox cheapy amp or maybe Jensen. 15-20 watts x2. Low quality but should work well for the app.

Jay... Toss the truck battery.... there is this little amp a friend turned me on to... will even run off flashlight batteries... & sounds quite amazing! Uh, I had the info around here somewhere.... Crap!!! I'll send it to ya when I find it.
